2024 HFM Family Educational Weekend
November 22 - November 24
The HFM Family Weekend is HFM’s flagship event! Due to limited funds and an overwhelming interest, registration is by invitation only. The invitation process is as follows:
1. Priority is given to newly diagnosed families and first-time attendees.
2. Next, if space allows, we consider families in need of respite or support, as well as those who have faced medical or family emergencies over the past year.
3. Finally, we consider the number of previous Family Weekend events each family has attended to ensure equal opportunity for all community members. Priority is given to families who did not attend last year’s Family Weekend and to those who live in rural areas, where distance may pose a barrier to attending regular programming.
